Food is delicious. The best Hispanic food I've ever had.... Large portions super tasty...Locale not very impressive thou, (reminiscent of something you would find in a small Caribbean neighborhood) small narrow dining area with a separate kitchen. There are about 8 tables and it looks like you can also eat on the counter near kitchen. They have a steady flow of patrons eating in and picking up take out.

Unbelievable delicious... if I could give them 10 star ⭐️ I would . I went there for the first time for my brother’s birthday and I’m definitely will be going back. Delicious food, awesome, friendly, attentive staff.

This was the best food ever. The meat was tender and not overly seasoned. Portion size was large. Everything was wonderful.

A small restaurant that serves great Cuban food near the Ringling home and museum. It is small but the food is savory and well seasoned. Very quick service and everything from the Cuban sandwich to the roast pork (Puerco asado) was delicious.

Excellent restaurant. Great, authentic Cuban food. This is the real deal. Plates are large, delicious, sides have all the Cuban variations and very affordable. It is not a large place, and not fancy but oh my, delicious food, great service! Here are some photos. This will be our go to place for Cuban food in Sarasota. Five stars.

Had an amazing dinner there tonight. The Ropa Vieja was wonderful! Great food, large portions, reasonably priced ... and our server was really nice too! Highly recommend!

The service was very good but the food was delicious, although the place is small, the waiters are looking for the best way to accommodate you so that you are comfortable during your visit since in total we were 5 people, the waiter's suggestions regarding the food were to the point since my Churrasco was delicious as well as the palomilla, the Cuban sandwich and the chicken with pepper and onions that were ordered at our table. The appetizers that were ordered came out fast and in the same way we were not disappointed by the green plantain baskets stuffed with ropa vieja (shredded beef)were finger licking good!! In conclusion if you want to try authentic, delicious Cuban food and it doesn't bother you to wait a few minutes since it is a very popular place this is the Restaurant to visit. They got me as a customer for the Service and Food Quality !!

Great food and reasonably priced. We went to have lunch here and everyone in the group liked their food. The place was packed. I ordered island chicken. It was delicious. The flavors were balanced. Black rice with beans is perfect side with chicken. It is different from your regular eat outs. There is additional parking in rear.Portions are generous. This is not a fancy place though.

The arrozz con pollo was cooked perfectly. The flavor was warm, inviting..homey. The Cuban sandwich is a faithful delicious representation of the classic pork and pickle masterpiece. The staff is friendly and efficient. I couldn't believe how affordable such eclectic food was. A hidden gem, don't drive by next time you're on north trail, you will not be disappointed.

Best Cuban food on the West Coast of Florida. Always a wait to get in. That in itself tells you something.

I am very disappointed with the cuban sandwich. I ordered the footlong cuban sandwich to go home and open it to see that they probably put maybe $1.50 worth of meat. I literally had to open the sandwich to even locate the meat. I paid nearly $9.00 for this sandwich with about $1.50 worth of meat in it. I will not be coming back. You get 2 thumbs down for this.

Small cramped dining room at lunch time Mirnas packs you in. The set up is strange with a counter in the kitchen. Service was ok. Cleanliness was lacking. Food portion was decent and fairly reasonably priced. I’ll try some where else next time.

Hands down THE BEST Cuban food around!!! Staff is beyond friendly and always polite. Feel as if you're eating in someone's home. Flan is #1....Gotta have it!!!

Cozy and clean dining area. Went for lunch at a friend's recommendation. Everything on the menu was very reasonably priced. Cubano sandwich was the best I've had so far.Definitely will be back again.

They one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had! Even as good as Tampa Cubans. It's a nice, quaint restaurant with authentic Cuban cusine.

I tell everyone I know that this is the best Cuban food outside of Miami anywhere in the country. I’ve been taking people here for years and every one of them becomes addicted to how incredible the food is. Mirna’s is great. Mirna’s herself is great! So is everyone who works there. Try the Arroz Impériale (OMG—so good!) or the chicken and shrimp with yellow rice and plantains (also: wow. just wow.).

We were in town and we wanted a Cuban sandwich, and this place did not disappoint... The food is absolutely delicious..Its a small and inviting environment... The staff was super friendly and very helpful it's a very clean restaurant ...I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised I give it 5 stars..

OMG so good, I had ropas viejas and the portion was big. Congris was tender and flavorful. Plantains sweet and crispy edges. Amazing. And 10 bucks for my meal

I've been living in the Sarasota Bradenton area for ~3 years. This is simply the best food experience I've had locally. Freshly made, delicious, authentic, with great selections, and very reasonable price. I will bring the rest of my family and friends. Congratulations to the owners and staff for the great job.

This hidden gem on the North Trail, just north of the airport on the left. Attached to a convenience store. The food is extremely fresh, very large portions and unheard of prices. Everyone I have encountered are super polite and tolerate my lack of Spanish. But it’s not needed as they understand English perfect. The Cuban style pork is the best I’ve had south of Tampa and just as good if not better. It is family run with a few non family members that act like they are and fit right in. The dining area is small so during high season be prepared. They are open Tuesday-Saturday from 11-8 and Sunday 11-6. Closed Mondays. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!

Friendly & courteous service; Very fast getting all of their orders out; The flavor was exactly as an authentic Cuban restaurant should taste and the portions are very generous; All of my favorite qualities in an authentic food restaurant! I had the ropa vieja with arroz congri and fried yucca. The restaurant was full and people gladly waited outside, and that was on a Wednesday evening 😳. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area again. I very highly recommend them.

I Absolutely Enjoyed My Lunch At Mirna’s Cuban Cuisine. I had never eaten here before so I googled restaurants near me... what a jewel ... fresh food and the Best Wait Staff. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Never greeted at the door and the food quality was extremely questionable. I ordered arroz con pollo, and it was the driest and most tasteless piece of chicken I’d ever had at a restaurant. The rice had bones in int, quite bland and dry as well. As a Cuban I would not recommend this place. We never got a water refill or asked if we wanted dessert. When I advised the waitress about the food quality, there was no interest in making things right. I hope they make a better effort.

Tastes better than it looks!Mom and pop's hole in the wall, authentic Cuban food. Not bland, not overwhealmingly salty, just perfect. Generous portions. Friendly staff, excellent environment. As authentic as it gets. Prices are reasonable.

We searched for the "right" Cuban restaurant to eat at while visiting Sarasota and we were beyond impressed. I had the best Cuban food I have ever eaten at Mirna's. The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. Also, I love the authentic decor.
